- Only public accounts work — if you can't see the post logged out, we can't fetch it.
- Ask the creator before reposting, and always credit their @handle.
- For Reels with licensed music, the audio may be muted outside Instagram due to rights restrictions.
Troubleshooting Instagram downloads

| "Content not available" | The account is private, the post was deleted, or Instagram is rate-limiting. Wait a few minutes and retry. |
| Only the first carousel item downloaded | Scroll the results list — every item in the carousel appears with its own button. |
| Link from the app doesn't work | Remove extra text the app adds and keep just the https://www.instagram.com/… link. |

Can I download Instagram Stories?
Public story links can work when the account is public and the story is still live (under 24 hours). Highlights may be less reliable.
Do I need to log in?
No. Never enter your Instagram password on a downloader site — SaveVD doesn't ask for it.
Will the person know I downloaded their Reel?
No. Instagram doesn't notify users about downloads.
Can I download from private accounts?
No. Private posts are only available to approved followers.
